Catherine Wilkinson

Catherine is a long time community activist representing a wide range of residents, including Toronto Community Housing tenants and neighbourhood citizens. She is serving her second term as a Toronto Community Housing Board member.

With over 30 years of business experience in both the public and private sectors, Catherine brings a variety of expertise to her role. She has worked in the areas of strategic planning, corporate affairs, community development, real estate property management, and labour relations in the health sector, financial industry, and federal and municipal governments.

Catherine is a former director on the boards of the Innisfil Chamber of Commerce and Community Centre 55, and a former police dispatcher and auxiliary police constable in Toronto.  She remains actively involved in the democratic process at the municipal, federal and provincial levels.

A three-year citizen member on the City of Toronto Public Health Steering Committee to manage the bed bug issue, and a co-author of the Community Report presented to the Medical Officer of Health, Catherine brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the area of developing education/intervention training to Toronto Community Housing residents and the public.
