Earth Week Lobby Intercept & Light Bulb Exchange (Weston Rexdale)

Toronto Community Housing staff and tenant volunteers will support an information table in the lobby of their buildings, where tenants will receive materials on how to be green during Earth Week.

Tenants who bring an incandescent bulb to the Earth Week information table can exchange it for a free compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL). The CFL bulbs, which can only be used in lamps only, will save more than $40 in energy and replacement costs in Toronto Community Housing buildings. The money saved can go back into Toronto Community Housing tenant priorities.
